Recently while having lunch with a friend, I started staring off then got up and went to the counter ordered another meal, paid for it and returned to the table. I had no memory of it and my friend thought it was strange sine there were free refills on drinks. Later I missed some money and only when he told me did I realize I had spent the money for the second meal. Does this sound like a partial complex seizure?

Hi, I've had a temporal lobe Seizure twice if I remember Correctly!
It's Scary, You feel like you are being attacked With people around you.

You can't Communicate and feel very vulnerable !
I have no warning when it may happen!
I've never had these seizures As A Kid!
I did a bunch of drugs throughout my life and I think
I may be paying the price!
I'm on Lamictin , Zoloft, Cymbalta and zyprexa!

I'm a danger on the road cause it happens at Any random Time!
I suffer from Bi-polar with Borderline
Traits !!

I'm afraid to go to a neurosurgeon And hearing something I don't wanna hear!

I have no co-Ordination When I have a frontal lobe seizure.
People find it hard to realise That I've had A Seizure without the physical Fit!!

Please share!

J

Sounds familiar, but if you knew consciously where you were, it may have been a mild seizure.

I must have been aware of something, ordering food and paying for it, but no memory of it at all.

Hello,

I also get that memory loss...a lot!! (Had a severe concussion, hit my head, and ER Dr said I possibly had 2 seizures)

Just the other day, I paid a co-pay, the receptionist handed me a large receipt (talking printer paper size) I had it in my hand then a minute later asked her for a receipt, had no memory of her handing it to me.

This kind of thing happens all the time, very short term memory loss....have to write notes everywhere.

I also have lapse of time, it feels as though I suddenly wake up, I can walk a block and look back and have no memory of it, don't remember going in to the loss of time, just on the other end.

ER Dr thought I was having absence seizures.
