I'm sorry you had to go on disability, not wanting too. I know it is hard to handle the fact that you can no longer work full-time, but hopefully like you said, you can find a part-time job.
I have been on disability since I was 40, I'm now 47. I didn't want to face it either at such a young age. I had no choice at the time either. I have lupus, RA, Fibro and other things as well. I was put on disability for lupus and RA. I was not able to work at all because of the two diseases and what they were doing to me.
I wish you luck with finding part-time work and trying to get part of your life back that was taken away. My heart goes out to you. I'm glad you have a good wife and family to support you through this. Take care and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
