I suffer from intestinal disease and have tremors too, where I always shake, vibrate, I have had those most of my life. I am 50 years old. I have been baffled by some sudden jerks of my arms and severe hands shaking. These probalems have been happening for about 12 years, but the arms being thrown around has only been about maybe 7 years now. Sometimes, when I have a particially bad day where my hands shakes so viloently I can only stop it by sitting on it, or laying on top of it. If I am trying to hold a cup or a pen that is whenit is most likely to happen. I have discussed this with my doctors, but they have only seen my tremors, not the severe thrashing of my hand(s). Also when I am sitting down or lying down, at rest, soemtimes my arm will flail widlely over from one side to the other and scare the hell out of me. I am really afraid I wil break it if I am by furniture. Someime I am at the computer witht he mouse and reading, and my arm will flail throwing the mouse. I scared and totally perplexed. I have not had this happen in public yet, I think because I am never at rest in public. But I have had my hand go into convulsions and it took up to 10 minutes to regain the ability to keep it from looking like a blender. My hand(s) hurt when I am writing with pencils or even tyopying, but much much worse If I have to write more than a sentence with a pencil.
What is going on? Unless the doctors see this they really don't understand. When I have seen a neoroligist, they have always determined I suffer from tremors, but have never seen the flailing, and I really don't tel them about this stuff any more because I am just looked at like I am insane. A basket case. I end up waiting until soemthing really bad happens until they actually see soemthing, even then I just throw up my shoulders and say screw it, not going to say anything. I lsot the ability to work many years ago, so I don't have to worry about a job, I have lived on disability for many years. That was a total horror story in itself and was treated so badly death would have been preferable than go through that totally inept corrupt process.
In cas eanyone wonders, this is the USA, witht ehy corrupt miserable health system. Byt he time I lost everything, I ende dup with my veterans Health care and they have been wonderful, The misery was with both an HMO and then the USA Social Securtiy Dsiability system that is the most horrible ever. Veterrans hospital has been good to me. But some doctors still don't understand unless they can actually see an espisode.
What is going on?
