Hi Everyone,
I saw the neuro today at UAB. He asked me a couple of quick questions and said he was going to listen to my heart, but he had the scope at my chest for about a second. He may have heard 2 beats in that time.
He just flat out told me that he didn't think I was having seizures, but didn't know what was causing my problems and that we could spend millions of dollars trying to figure it out if I wanted too!!! He said he didn't think I needed and EEG, but he would do one if I really wanted him too, but he didn't think it would do any good. He acted like I was wasting his time. Needless to say, I was very ticked off when I left his office. It is a 2 1/2 hr drive each way and wasted the whole day to hear that.
I asked him if I could drive and he said yes, so I will start back driving based on what he said.
I know my Rheumy will not be happy about what he said and did today, but I will let her deal with him..I don't plan on going back to him again.
Tks for all your help and support. Take care and God Bless You All.

Hi Tracy,

It's good to hear from you sweetie!!  Tks for your warm words of encouragement. I see my rheumy tomorrow morning. She will probably schedule me an EEG closer to home. She wasn't very happy about that neuro!! She also wants to talk to me about some labs I had. I will let you know how the appt goes.

I hope you are doing well and getting ready for your graduation. Take care and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
