My daughter is 11 years old and was diagnosed with generalized seizure disorder several years ago.  She has what have been described as "absence" seizures, but they are atypical.  Rather than staring off into space, she tends to blink -- she closes her eyes for just a second and bows her head.  She does this about 20-30 times a day while taking her medication (depakote) and over 100 times a day when no meds are present.
 
Has anyone else seen this type of seizure?
