Hello,  I was wondering if anyone has had a repeat EEG came back abnormal BUT without actually registering a seizure.  My neuro says I have abnormal Temporal Lobe activity on the test so I could have a seizure so I still can't drive.  He says he is concerned because it has been 2 years of medication & I still have abnormal brain activity.
I'm really confused as to what has to happen to fix this.  I take my medication every day.
Is this unusual? Has anyone had this happen?

Hi Julia,
You guys must have very strict laws on driving and epilepsy. In the UK you would be fine to drive. RE: Abmornal brain activity, it is possible that the activity is caused by something other than epilepsy. If you have been sz free for 2 yrs on meds but still have abnormal brain activity, it is also possible that the meds are doing JUST enough to keep the sz away or you are having sz during the night. Are your sz petit mal? Have they run a 24 hr EEG?
