I have been feeling so icky and you all have protected me so well- thank you! I said something to myself today that cracked me up- so I thought I would pass it along and maybe you can send your own thoughts on this matter so we can all get a good laff. Here goes:

Question- How sick am I?

My answer- when I think I look too bad to go to Target for Rx, l I go to Walmart instead!

Hi Sera! Humor is one of the most powerful meds there is and the side effects are almost always positive. It comes from that all-powerful family of meds that includes God, music, love, imagination and humility! Sometimes we forget that some of the best meds don't come in bottles or packages!

(BTW......that was a great laugh! When you can laugh at or with yourself, you're on the right track!)

Gentlest of hugs,
John

I used to have a job where I'd work for a few hours early in the morning, have mid-day off, then go back to work in the afternoon. In the morning, it would be cold so I'd wear jeans and my usual long, oversized T-shirt. I'd come home, take off my jeans and nap for a few hours. Then I'd put on shorts and go back for the afternoon.

When I was enjoying a good fibro-fog, I'd get half way to work and realize I forgot to put on pants. Once, I got all the way to work and started to get out of the car before I realized I was half-dressed.

After that, I always kept a pair of pants in the car.

Believe in yourself.  Be kind to fellow humans and animals.  Take time to smell the flowers and the coffee.
And by all means, when you are down, ask me for help.  I will be there.

OMG Dagger I have had nightmares of doing that. I take inventory before leaving the house to make sure I am dressed and that's on a good fog day.

I'm so glad I don't know many people in this town and the ones I do know have seen me look like crap since I have lived here. But Sera I wouldn't go to the city looking like I do around here cause I would be afraid of running into someone I know.

I guess when I really have to question myself on whether I should be driving is bad days or I don't feel like shopping. When I stop shopping they might as well fill out the death certificate. I'll be saying, "wait a minute God I seen this pair of shoes on sale that I want to be buried in".

No Sherrine, I won't buy the matching purse to be buried with me. devil

luv and hugs
