Today is really a bad day I have these swollen glands under my neck and I have a weird headache (different than the normal head-neck pain). I just feel really icky over and beyond the normal pain and fatigue. I wonder if I'm coming down with something? I have allergies, but they have been under control this summer, I'm not sure if I should be checking with my regular Dr or my Fibro Dr at this point?

Hopegirl, I'm sorry you  are having a bad day.  I can't tell you what doctor, if any, to go to.  I am not a doctor.  I keep Zicam nasal swabs at home so if I'm having one of those days that I think I may be coming down with something, I will start using those.  They help ward off sickness but can't hurt you, either.

HI hopegirl,

Sorry your having a bad day. I'd give it a day and see how you feel. The only time my neck glands swell up is when I am coming down with a bad cold or something tonsil related which usually means anti-biotics for me. But I have had several times where the symptoms go just as fast as they came and you don't want to be taking anti-biotics if you don't have to. Doctors seem to push those for every little thing now a days and your body gets to the point that it can't fight any infection on it's own anymore. Hope you feel better soon.

Soft Hug's,
Karen

I had a really bad day yesterday but in my case own fault.  Cleaned out all the drawers, felt good at time wink   but the next day. When ever I feel the pain I panic so bad.  My immed thought please dont let me be getting the flu.  Usually though if I wait a day and really take it easy it passes.  Im always worried my meds arent working and immed hit panic mode.  So far just rest and tends to go away.     dont go doc unless really have to, you might leave with more than you went in with, does this worry other people.  I sit as far away from people as poss smilewinkgrin smilewinkgrin smilewinkgrin    sue2z

Hopegirl, I hope your feeling much better today.  We all have those kind of days, but it helps to hear from others that care and share.

God Bless!

Hope your feeling a little better today-

Do call the Dr. if your symptoms get worse or if you start running a high fever. I don't think it would matter which one you called. GamJill

Hopegirl,
Try just resting and let some things go. If you are not better by MOnday, see your MD. I know when I do too much I suffer the next day but I would not fool around with swollen glands.
Pray you're better soon.

Hope I hope you are feeling better. If you panic when you start having pain or not feeling well it will only make it worse.
