Hi all...

Sorry I've been absent for the past week or so. I needed a break from life. I doubt I need to explain it to you all, my forum family. I didn't need a break from all of you, but I needed to turn off everything extraneous I was doing so I could focus on getting back where I need to be mentally. Getting more disappointing diagnoses seemed to put me over the edge. Seems my lower spine has worsened and the arthritis in my neck has increased. At least it explains the pain levels of late.

I am going to be up to my ears in 'busy' for the next 2 days but will try to peek in to say 'hi'. Then on Tuesday, after my "new" back specialist appointment, I should be back with you all full time.

Thanks for the sweet emails and caring thoughts!

Hey Chutzie,

Good to hear from you.  I'm glad you listened to your body and are taking the break that you need.  It is really tough about those dx.  Pamper yourself.  Get a massage if your body will let you - or a facial and maybe a pedicure.  spend some time visiting with your chickies.  Keep in touch  on here because the people here are good for encouragement and support.

Gentle hugs,

Chutzie (AKA Mama Bird)! wink
It's so good to hear from you.  I'm happy you are taking time for yourself.  I have a hard time doing that, but my physical therapist recommended that I learn how to be selfish.  I think a lot of us here don't know how to do that.  I worry about making sure all my friends and family are OK, and that leaves very little time to focus on myself. eyes   But, I am trying.  Yesterday, I tuned the world out for a whole 4 hours and slept so hard!  It was wonderful.  LOL turn
Anyway, take your time coming back.  We are all here for you.  Also, the mods are doing a great job (great job mods, LOL).  Of course, all of your baby birds hope you come back to the coop, ASAP, but fly back at your own pace. smilewinkgrin

FINALLY dxd on 06/13/08
