I'll never forget the time my son walked in the front door to see me staring at the vacuum in my hand.
He smiles and says "Forgot how to turn it on, huh? Maybe you should use it more often!"
Guess who did the vacuuming on that particular day?
Fibro Fog, I have been in a fog for days now. Just yesterday morning, I left the house with my lovely daughters. I was bringing them to school and then head off to work. Well I was talking and not paying any attention to what I was doing and turned down the highway to go to work. You would think one of my girls would have mentioned that I was forgetting to bring them to school, NO, they let me continue until I realized what I was forgetting. I turned around and headed to their school. I asked them why they didn't tell me I forgot to drop them off at school and their response was "We didn't want to go to school anyway". I think they are taking advantage of my fog .
Yesterday, I was cleaning the house (yay for me!) and I was getting ready to vacuum, but I was doing something else as well, though I can't remember what. Anyways. I was getting ready to do that, and I stood in the middle of the room for like five minutes before I remembered what it was I was going to do.
I'll be having conversations with my hubby, and right in the middle of a sentence, I will completely forget what I was talking about!
I feel like Dory on Finding Nemo sometimes. My husband and I will joke around about it, like saying, "Can I help you?" after staring blankly into space for a few minutes. LOL. It's nice that I have an understanding husband who can help me make a joke out of my forgetfullness...
