My primary told me today when I went in to give urine sample that he has no clue what may be going on, Lupus,Lyme and thyroid all came back normal but there is high white and red cells that he is concerned about so he is refering me to a rheumatologist. I am going to start keeping a log today of everything that is going on and I am putting a list of my symptoms together and the appt is in one week......Should I be doing anything else in the mean time? Also I am starting celebrex tomorrow.

I hope the celebrex helps with your arthritis. I absolutely cannot live without this drug! It makes my quality of life worth living and helps me keep most of my fibro flares at bay.

As far as the symptoms list goes, also note what you did to help yourself... Took an aspirin, took a nap, had a family member rub your shoulders, whatever intervention you tried and if it helped or not. Note your pain levels and how they affected your everyday living. (Example: "Vacuumed the living room, had to stop, back pain was huge" or "Couldn't stand at the stove to cook, needed to sit in a chair") This will help your doc see the impact that the fibro is having on getting around or getting things done. Good luck with the new doc.

I too am mobile because of Celebrex. When I've had to go off of it due to having procedures the pain was unbelievable.

Also Jeannie's idea about your list is great. I use a free 'Daily Log' that you can print as many copies as you like. Makes it easy. Here's the link...

Good luck and keep us posted,

Hi eyes of fire. Best of luck to you. I have an extremely high wbc count (leukocytosis) and I am hoping to find out the true cause of THIS and all of this fibro-related stuff. :((( Sadly, I don't think this is just one of those diseases that doesn't cause major damage in the long-run. Write everything down for your rheumatologist and even get copies of your labs is he/she doesn't have them.
:)))) And don't rule out RA.

Thank you for that pain chart info, that is going to be a great help. I am making my lists on a daily basis and I picked up a copy of my blood work and even my cholesterol and sugars are awesome which I expected to be in trouble somewhere due to my weight and family issues with all that. Like my dr said I am always coming to him with something strange and he loves the challenge but this one has him stumped.
