EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL about IT! scool

OK, I have the news we have all been waiting for (especially me).  I WILL be moving to South Carolina sometime during the week of October 12th. shocked   Hopefully, I will be home on or about October 18th.  This time, I actually believe my mom, because she gave me her AmEx card number to purchase plane tickets.

So, FINALLY, I will be going home to family, friends, and Cracker Barrel. smilewinkgrin    Seriously, you have no idea how excited I am.  I could cry right now-just thinking about it. cry   Of course, I am nervous-especially having to figure out disability (any suggestions?  I'm on short term state disability right now), and having to live with my parents.  I have lived alone for over 14 years, so I'm used to just doing anything no matter what time it is.  I don't know if I can handle the constant questions of, "where are you going?," "what are you doing?," "when will you be back?," etc. rolleyes   Of course, my personal favorite will be those annoying questions from my mom when I'm laying down in the middle of the day.  The "what's wrong?," "why are you sleeping in the middle of the day?," "are you depressed?"  You know, the typical "mom" questions. eyes   But, I'll just have to deal with it, right?  I know y'all will give me tons of support, and I do have a great friend that lives about 2 hours away.  So, I can always run away to her place. :-)

Anyway, I just wanted y'all to share in my excitement. tongue   You know I've been waiting for this for a long time.  I was supposed to move in May.  So, I guess 5 months late isn't too bad, right?  Well, I guess I should just shut up-cause I really think it's gonna happen this time, and I don't want to jinx myself. shakehead

Oh!  Mama Bird, can we have my "Goodbye Party" at your house?  No chickens will be injured, of course!  Think about it, please?  I love a party! tongue

Congratulations, Kelly!  I know how badly you have wanted to get back here to the south.  Your Mom may not ask all those questions either.  After all, you are 14 years older.   I'm glad it's finally going to happen for you!

Oh Kelly, I'm so glad for you.  I knew our prayers would be answered one day.

It couldn't be at a better time.  You will be home in time for all the beautiful fall colors.

I'm so excited and can't wait to hear the good news when you finally arrive home.  Like the old saying, "there's no place like home".

I bet your family is excited too.

God Bless!

I'm so happy for you Kelly. How long are you planning on living with your parents??? That would be a hard one for me.

I could move down there and share a place for the winter with you but I would have to duct tape your mouth shut or you would drive me crazier. turn

I am so proud of you for not smoking.

Kelly, I'm so proud of you.  My dh said when he quit smoking the third week was the hardest of all of him.  Your through the worst of it and I'm sure you should be feeling better.  I know you are proud of yourself too.  You should be.  You've over come one of the hardest things that a lot of people face in life.
I knew you could do it.  You are a strong person.

I'm so excited about you moving home too.  Keep us informed as you get ready to make that big move.  It won't be long now.  I'll be whistling "Dixie" for you.

Love, Shannon
