i have been having some serious fibro fog at work and my co-workers are getting irritated....they do not know i have fibro....they only know i have a type of arthritis.....

tonight, i royally screwed up the seating chart and the waitstaff gets upset because some of them loose tips due to my mistakes....

i wanted to print something out so that they might understand but the search terms i used bring up very little....

does anyone have a better suggestion for a search term or possibly a link that i could use????

i feel really bad, but i know i do the best i can at work....i work really hard and the pain i have makes it difficult for me to concentrate....

any suggestions are welcome...

Hi alicat!

Gosh I'm sorry about what happened at work. I know that must have been very upsetting for you. Fibro fog is hard to explain. Try telling someone you have a muscle disorder and you can't remember things because of it?!?!??? Doesn't make sense unless you have done your homework on fibro.

Try the Resource Directory up on the top blue bar. Also try these places...

Hope this helps,

thanks for the links chutz. i did find a couple of things to print out. the first one was the most helpful.

i felt so alienated from everyone last night. whenever i would walk up to them, they would stop talking. i know they were complaining about me. i just said "what's going on?" and they made something up about the salad bar. i really hate dealing with this type of situation.

i hope they will understand when i try to explain. fibro fog is the most difficult symptom to get across. pain is one thing, but forgetfullness? one thing i might say is that because of the pain, my mind becomes distracted....

we'll see....
