who have gone through menopause.

I have had regular priods sometimes latley they may last a little longer like an extra week but just spotting and then this month nothing. I'm 48. My breast are tender and I'm really tired and of course usual body aches from Fibro. I really haven't had any of the pre stuff everyone talks about. I was due to start the first of Sept. also this morning I woke up feeling sick and certain foods such as toast made me feel worst. I watch 2 little babies right now and the small of just their daipers getting wet gets to me.

Is this menopause or should I worry about something else. I have no one else really to talk to. Also could this be from the Fibro?

Hi Roni, glad you checked in. Could you be pregnant??? The five times in my life I have skipped periods, had sore breast and sick from smells I was pregnant. smhair

Besides skipped periods, light periods, heavy periods, never knowing when I was going to have a period, wanting to bite everyone's head off at times or crying at the drop of a hat and feeling very loving and emotional was about it. Dont' know if I can really blame the anxiety on peri-memopause but had plenty of that. I was about your age when things starting going whacky. I haven't been the same since. Aren't you glad you asked???

Gosh, Roni, Marlee's idea was the first thing that popped into my head, too. Might be time for a test?

MMMM...first thing that popped in my head too! However, I am peri-menopausal and a crohns patient that the Gastro Dr. will not agree to having my baby factory removed. I bleed alot off schedule too. You are at the "right" age to start having symptoms. If you don't smoke they can put you on birth control to regulate you. But instead of guessing...you NEED to see a GYN! One never knows and "we" are not doctors.
