Hello

I'm a severe FMS patient in Peru, 10 years leaving with it and it has been only during the current 2008 that it was diagnosed correctly. I've suscribed to this forum to ask if someone could tell me about positive results with systemic enzimes for a case in which almost all the body is spasmed. I just can do simple things, staying in front a computer must be limited, not walking so much becaus my back and my legs hurt me, etc, etc..

I'm starting my second bottle of 450 capsules of Vitlazym, and I will try with Zymesence as soon as I receive them from the US.

Could someone tell something about them? or advise me how to get in touch with people with FMS that have consumed sistemic enzimes?

Thanks in advance

Momino,

Welcome to HealingWell. I have not heard of this treatment and all of the information that I could find online was from companies selling products. Most of the data indicates that it "reduces vascular inflammation" which has nothing to do with fibromyalgia. I could not find any medical information only sales information. Have you had any relief from pain with this stuff?
I use inexpensive Malic Acid and magnesium to treat my fibromylagia.

Hi, Momimo, and welcome!  I have never heard about this either.  And I, too, use the malic acid/magnesium supplements.  If you go to the Fibro 101 thread...the second thread on the forum, you will find links to good info about fibromyalgia, along with a link about malic acid/magnesium supplements.  The link explains all about them and how it works in the body.

Read posts and ask questions.  We are here to help you.  I'm glad you joined us and I hope to hear more from you soon.

Hello Momimo,

I'm new here too, and would like to hear more about your experience with Vitalzyme? Not everyone respond to the supplements the same way.

You say you have severe FMS, I'd like to know how Vitalzyme is helping you, since you're going for your second bottle... :O) Something must be working?

Thanks!

Hello Momimo and Kneelinheart,

I would like to welcome you to the fibromyalgia forum. Please tell us how the enzymes are helping you, I am sure that there will be a lot of people interested.

This is kind of off topic, but my dog has yeast issues and I use probiotics and enzymes to help her. They do work. It is just that as the yeast excretes from her body, she always gets a little worse before she gets better. Plus I give her antioxidents. These enzymes can be used by people too.

I hope that you tell us more. Keep posting both of you,
hugs, Karen...

No need for apologies. I can relate to that. Sometimes it is so hard to sit in front of a computer.

I hope that you are having a wonderful day.

Hugs, Karen

Hi Mo and welcome to the Healing Well family. I was on Vitalzyme for about 6 months or so. It didn't seem to make any difference for me so I stopped. Trying that supplement was recommended to me by an MD who was interested in alternative treatments such as acupuncture, etc. I wish I could tell you it was the greatest thing for my fibro but I can't. I hope that you have better results and feel well very soon.   Lisa
