Jeannie, I have a moist heat heating pad that is 14"x27" Not quite 2 1/2 feet long but it is huge compared to my old one and covers alot of area. I got mine from an internet company called isokinetics inc. More expensive than a dry heating pad but I like it and it was recommended by my dr.  Lisa

Let's see, if I get all of these and duck tape them together I could make a really big heating pad! Yeah! That's what I'll do!

ROFL, Duck tape them together, I agree.

I got the pad for under $20.00 at rite aid (or was that Bartell's). No automatic shut off thank goodness. I like to have it on all night so all I have to do when I need it, is lean on the thing.

It is a common thing to find in a drug store. I want one that is 4' by 6' though. Warming blankets are just not hot enough.

Jeannie, that should keep you from having to say, "not tonight dear I have a headache". turn

I need to find something besides the heated mattress pad to keep warm this winter. The wires were too irratating to lay on last winter.

Hi jeannie,

I have a large electric heating pad that I bought at cvs, never measured it but it goes from my neck to my butt. Actually i do not seem to get the benefit from the electric moist heating pads as the microwaveable ones, I like the gel packs. I also have a back buddy, the bed buddies partner, that covers my entire butt, wide spread, lol. That I bought at CVS also but have seen them cheaper on line.

Anyone know where I can buy a microwaveable sleeping bag for times like this when your entire body hurts.

I am wondering why I post a reply and afterwards my web suts off completely or sometimes does it when I just press reply.

BTW, i posted to you before and made it a new topic, i think my brain has gone south for the winter already.

Hugs, Linda
