Tyno, I am thinking about making an appt with a local accupuncturist. I am in particular having digestive trouble now, and for the past 8 weeks. I read that the stone unakite is good for that chakra. I don't know what that means, maybe you can help me understand! Thanks!

Sera- not sure if you need more advice on the subject...and I don't know about the stone you mentioned- but I would like to share with you my personal experience with accupuncture, and reccomend that you find the BEST one that you can get to, even if it means driving an hour. I received accupucture from a man who was a MD in china and in the US, on top of all of his accupuncture credentials. he was amazing. my headaches when away completely for about 6 months, and I did not have a migraine for almost a year after i saw him( 2 sessions I think?) so I highly reccomend the accupuncture...but, don't go to just anyone. ask around and find out who has the best reputation. If someone is not as experienced, you may not have any relief...or if they place the pins in the wrong places, it could cause you a great deal of pain....

good luck, and let us know how it goes!!

Sera, according to the website Lucky Gem Stones unakite is actually related to the heart chakra so is useful with heart problems including emotional problems of the heart. There is other info about it also but doesn't say how it helps. I like making gemstone jewelry but am not into their supposed healing powers. According to a book I have about gemstones the stones for the naval chakra which deals with the GI system include tiger's eye, topaz, yellow tourmaline and citrine. I don't believe in magical healing powers of objects but thought I'd pass the info along to you since you asked the question. I do believe though that you really need to see a doctor about your problem before it gets so out of hand that you end up in real trouble. Please think about it. Lisa
