I think I caused it by riding in the car for 6 hours while working on my laptop.  Then in the middle of the night I woke in terrible pain and had to stay home in bed yesterday.  My office mate thought I was playing hooky and when I told him, no, unfortunately, I was not, he felt bad for thinking that.  The trouble is that when there is a flare, you fall behind and then end up working harder to catch up and that can cause more trouble.  You have to be careful, for sure.

Hi Sue:
That seems to be one of the hardest things with Fibro, getting to know our own individual limitations.  It seems to be trial and error.  Next time you need to be in the car so long, make frequent stops to stretch, and get some rest instead of working so hard. turn    I hope you're feeling better!

I hope you get better soon Sue. That would be so hard on the neck working on the laptop in the car. Just riding for 6 hrs would be hard. Have you tried moist heat??? Make sure you keep moving and stretching.

I have not had a job since fibro but I know I'm so far behind with stuff here in the house and I don't know how I will ever catch up.

Get better soon.
luv and hugs

Yes, feeling better now. Live and learn. Btw: I am getting botox in my neck and shoulders on Friday. Maybe the doc will do some of my wrinkles, too!
