I don't know if everyone else knows about this - its expensive but for those bad nights, it might be worth it:

That looks very comfy ..... !!!!!!
I have a feather bed on top of my mattress and I can scrunch it all up around me to support my back and neck.
It kind of works on the same principal.
Good to know they make something more modern to help
with the aches and pains of fibro.
Fibro causes me the worst pain at night and also I use a couple
of Bed Buddies that work wonders.
I learned about Bed Buddies on this site from some fibro suffers
and they work wonders. I have two for the muscles in my arms
and one for my lower back.
Hurrah Bed Buddies ........... !!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a fiber bed (it's like a feather bed except you can wash it) on top of an egg crate that's on top of a pillow-topped mattress!  This works for me.  I have the cushiness that I need along with the support for my bad back.  I use a fiber pillow, too.  Both the fiber bed and the fiber pillow combined are less than the full body pillow.  I bought mine at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

OMG, that looks so comfortable! shocked   My body has been a wreck (well, technically, it's been a wreck for a long time, LOL) since my move. sad   I used to sleep on my couch, cause that was the only place that didn't make me want to scream in pain.  But, I'm sleeping on a bed now, and my whole body feels like one giant bruise.  Seriously, it hurts if you barely touch me. cry

BTW-does anyone know the exchange rate from Canadian dollars to US dollars?  I see that the Hammacher site is in Canada.  Or, does anyone know if they have stores in the US?  LOL-and, I wonder if they are big enough for some of us...fuller figured people. tongue
FINALLY dxd on 06/13/08
Vicodin, Neurontin, Ibuprofen for pain-which doesn't help, BTW
Zoloft & methadone (NOT for pain) for sanity-which doesn't help, BTW
Klonopin for anxiety (Guess what?  Doesn't help!)
Chantix to try to quit smoking (started 08/20/08)

My mom found the pillow for me - I live in a dorm at school - worst. beds. ever. I bought a cheapo mattress pad that helps a little, but like I said -college -so I'm kinda poor lol. It helps a little but I'm sore all over. Metal springs pokin' me everywhere. I don't know what I'd do without my boyfriend's massages. I also bought a massager for my restless leg stuff at night. Its amazing..
