I have burning pain in my feet. But I think that is due to poor circulation. I remember when I first got fibro, the pain was a burning pain all over. It changed in time though, hopefully yours will too.

Best wishes for a wonderful day

Hugs, Karen

Suez I spent the first two weeks of June in burning pain all over my body. The only thing I could contribute it to was lowering the dose of amitriptyline a little. I still get some burning when the weather is changing but nothing like it was in June and mostly in my hands and feet. Yeah, the sorness is a breeze compared to the burning.
Yep, just when you think you have felt everything fibro can give you something new comes along.
luv and hugs

Hi Sue-

I don't get much burning sensations anymore but I did when the fibro first hit. It was mostly in my feet like Karen's. The gnawing, aggravating "pain" though is a constant throughout my body. :(

I get burning feelings in my feet and hands, and sometimes in my hips.  I am not sure what portion is due to fibromyalgia and/or 25+ years with type 1 diabetes (probably some neurapathy intensified from fibro).  I also get the extreme flu like aches and pains on a daily basis.  I am always cold, so the burning feeling is definately out of the ordinary for me.

I get a feeling in my legs that I liken to being bit on the legs (and feet) by a thousand fire ants! I mostly get this feeling when it's hot. I was burning up hot all summer long and now my feet feel like a chunk of ice and it makes me feel cold all over. I have the hardest time trying to get my feet warm and keep them warm. My husband used to let me stick my feet under his legs to warm them, but now it takes too long to get them warm!

I feel burning sensations whenever I overdo something physical. THis is one of the reasons I use a power wheel chair when outside of my home. My hips burn like the dickens whenever I walk on cement.

It is off and on.
