My Rheumotologist was telling me about Lyrica, Cymbalta, and Namenda. I don't want to take Lyrica because my Mom started it about 2 months ago and has gained weight. More than I want to. Cymbalta isn't something I can take with my other meds, and Namenda he said is not FDA approved yet. He said it is being used in Europe. That means my insurance may or may not pay. He said a months supply would run about $140. Does anyone know if this is true? Does it help?

Sorry, I can't take Lyrica or Cymbalta or Celebrex. I tried them and Lyrica and Celebrex both made me throw up...
I did a google search on Namenda and it's a medication used for Alzheimer's here in the USA. Don't
know why your doctor would bring this one up??? But as I not a chemist, maybe someday it'll be used
to treat fibro...Who knows...
Best you can do is to give the lyrica a try, it might very well help you, nothing is ever a certain, (except death and taxes)
Good luck in what you choose to do, Keep us posted, as we do care.
Lots of soft hugz.....
