Hi all,

I haven't been on the forum much due to making wreaths to donate to the local animal shelter.

I am almost done with the order and I am proud to say that I will be giving a 400.00 donation again this year.  Their Christmas walk is on the 15th this year.  Very early I must say.  But that is when they scheduled it.  I hope all of the wreaths sell for them.

Now I will have smaller orders and hope to be on the forum more.

I hope everybody has a wonderful painfree day.

Hugs Karen

I'm glad that you were able to accomplish that again this year!  I hope it was easier than last year.  You do seem to be sooo much better.

We'll be looking forward to your return!  We miss you.

Hi Gamjill,

Before I got fibro, I had a floral shop and a plant nursery. Well I did wreaths every holiday season. After I got sick I quit doing everything for a couple of years. When I started to feel better I started wanting to make the wreaths again and one day I was talking to the lady at the shelter and asked her if I could donate that could they sell them. She said yes and I have been doing it ever since. It has been about five years now. I don't know why I do it other than to help out I guess. And to feel worthwhile. But it is nice to know that I can still do some things. It is a real challenge though.

Thanks for asking.

Hugs, Karen

Karen-

I bet your wreaths are pretty. And to have had a floral shop and plant nursery! I could spend hours at nurseries just looking at everything. This summer I was able to get over to a nursery by me and spend "some" time there. (Was still pretty sick at that point). Just that even felt good.

Have a good evening- GamJill
