okay, so I put on jeans today to go to the casino.  Immediately, I feel a heaviness around my ankle.  Oh crap, I say, thinking this is another skin sensitivty issue that I have never felt before.  I consider taking off the jeans and wearing my pajama bottoms because let's face it.  People in the casino do not take their eyes off the machines to look at anyone.  I decide against it and go with the jeans. I do a few things before I leave and the ankle is REALLY feeling weird.  I drive to the casino, park the car and walk length of the parking garage.  The sensation is getting better!

Once inside, I meet my friend, walk about a mile to the place where you get your comps.  My friend starts laughing.  What's so funny...I ask.  She says 'nothing'.  We walk around this metro plex for about ten minutes trying to find a spot that isn't 40 below zero.  Finally, she says 'Look down".

What I see is a pair of underpants hanging by the elastic out of the leg of my jeans. I have dragged them through a parking lot and who knows how many hundreds of yards through the casino.  They are about to break loose.  Those people who I thought wouldn't notice pajama bottoms??  Yeah, they noticed THIS!

Plus, I didn't win anything.  The hot tub has to wait.

For all of you wondering what kind of friend would let me walk around with underpants hanging out of the leg of my jeans...I have known this woman since the 6th grade.  Once, several years ago at a baby shower, I let her reach up and hug all her friends and relatives with the price tag from her new sweater dangling from her armpit...T.J. MAXX...$39.95.  So you know what they say about pay backs.  I guess this says more about me than her....

Donna-

I think I have laughed for minutes now- and I'm sorry, that was just TOO funny!!!! I have had a fabric sheet stuck inside a leg of my jeans or a sweater, but underwear tops the cake!! I agree, you win!!

OMG Donna thanks for the laugh this morning. I have to ask how the underpants got around your ankle, were you putting them on or taking them off??? Do you know how many security cameras are in a casino that picked that up???

The only friend that I can see doing that to me is one that I have not met in person as yet, Sherrine. devil Oh I know you would and probably take pictures.

luv and hugs

Hey Marlee... jeans are soooo uncomfortable for me to wear...they really bother my skin....that when I  get home after wearing them, I pull them off, underwear included, and toss them in the hamper.  The underpants must have stayed inside the jeans in the wash, because I was wearing a clean pair when I got dressed.  I don't know how the mere pulling the jeans on didn't push them out.  Again, my skin is so sensitive, I feel all kinds of things inside my clothing and passed the sensation as just being another annoying facet of fibro!  The only other thing I can think of is that got there in the dryer.

Yep, Marlee, I'd have my digital camera clicking and then I'd post the pictures on line!  devil

Donna, my best friend did the same thing to me...allowed me to wear a new sweater with the price tag hanging from the arm pit and we were on a trip.  She is the travel agent and she LOVES to annouce that on the buses when we are traveling.  Got to laugh!
