My husband is constantly keeping his ears open for me and any cure-all for me and today he told me about celery and fibro.
This summer I craved celery (dipped in Ranch) A friend told him how celery helps with the joints, etc. so i am going to begin the great celery experiment. I did notice I didn't need injections when I was on my celery kick (it was short-lived) but I am now going to eat the stuff every day for a month and will update my progress. On a recent trip he was also given a recipe for a soup and he was told to fix it for me and I was to have a small bowl daily. I have the recipe but I'm not big on soup but it is said to get rid of the knots and tender points that fibromites have) And he didn't make it and I don't cook so I might give the soup a try soon, too. lol I have never been into alternative medicine or health food stuff but I'm getting cry old so I might just venture into other options. Please let me know if anyone has heard of the celery. Thanks!  confused

Hi,

I've never heard of the celery, but I'm always up to try something if it might help with the Fibro. Good luck and keep us posted. I'm really curious to see if it might help?

Hugs!  Margie

Celery is full of potassium. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

I would love to hear more about the special soup you mentioned. Can you pass along the recipe?

i find that most alternative medicines help more than the drugs the doc's prescribe us and are less harmful... I have been doing more research into alternative medicine for the pain and sleeplessness i am getting and it show that these are all found in nature... i would rather spend the money on something natural than a drug that has numerous side effects and are expensive.... although you do have to becareful with some natural medicines as they can cause some side effects as well.. so make sure if you are going an alternative way you find a good naturopathic doctor or a good health food store
