My lower back has been killing me for a week or more. I also have major leg with pain.  I had a CT of my back last week (normal).  I have been off work for about 3 weeks now (without pay!!). I need to get back to work rolleyes soon.  The pain shifts if I stand or lay for too long.  I can control it with motrin and cymbalta.
The pain is effecting my ability to walk, stand or even sit for longer than 30 mins.
I have had FM for about 8 years but this is a new one for me, I'm wondering if this is a sign of Lupus? Since I tested borderline postive.
Have Anyone else have lower back pain (above tailbone)?

I have alot of lower back pain, but mine could be from Fibro or my MS. I love heat on my back, but that doesn't work for everyone. I know that there are some people that see a Chiro, and swear by them. You also may want to talk to your doctor and see what they recommend. I tend to soak in a hot bath tub (even tho my neuro recommends not to) and lay flat on my back with my feet up on the couch and that HURTS terrible, but after about 30 minutes it feels better but it only lasts for a short period of time.

Hope this helps.

YES. I picked up my daughter from school and turned on the heated seats in the car.. WOW did that help!

I will follow up with my doctor for pain management.

I have back pain all the time, from just above the tailbone to about my waist, then it skips and bit and starts again all the way up between my shoulderblades. I've just started seeing a chiropractor and apparently my posture is AWFUL. However, I am less than thrilled about the treatments because they are very uncomfortable and at times quite painful. I'm giving it awhile to take effect though. Other than that, I have a heating pad and that's it. When I am in the car for a long time, I roll up a sweatshirt, tie the sleeves around my waist, and use the roll as lower back support. It gets me from Maryland to New Jersey (200 miles) just fine.

Diagnosed with fibromyalgia February 2008.
No meds right now, just Vitamin D and fish oil supplements and ibuprofen for headaches.

I have an old injury in the sacrum that now has arthritis so the lower back has been a problem for me for many years and fibro only makes it worse. I use moist heat and TENS unit when it is really bad.
