so i've been reading up here about malic acid/magnesium supplements and i am definitely going to try it. i just have a few of questions:

1. is there any issue with taking magnesium AND using the epsom salts in the bath? for instance-is there any risk of overdose or other issues with both?

2. i am also reading that you should take calcium with malic acid/magnesium. how much is recommended and should i take it in pill form, or just increase my dairy?

3. can i take two separate supplements, or is it better to get a two in one combo pill?

thank you so much for any advice any of you might have!

there shouldn't be any issues with using the mag and epsom salts just wouldn't take them close together... and i take the mag/malic acid with caltrate with vitamin d...

3. you can take two separate but i find after my pain pills, sleep pills vitamins its easier to take it in one pill

hope that helps

I started everyone on this malic acid, magnesium, calcium combo here on the site because I learned about it when I first was diagnosed with fibro. What works for me may not work for you because we all react differently. I take two 825mg. Malic acid/magnesium caplets in the morning and at night for a total of 3300mg of malic acid, plus the magnesium in the pill, the magnesium in my multivitamin and about every other day a magnesium citrate caplet. I also take 600mg Calcium with vitamin D every day on the advice of my physician. She also encourages the malic acid for my diabetes as well as fibro treatment.

I purchase the Malic acid/magnesium from I get calcium from them as well and also at Walgreens when they are having a sale, as well as Sams Club and Costco.

Hope this helps.
