questions about malic acid and magnesium

so i've been reading up here about malic acid/magnesium supplements and i am definitely going to try it. i just have a few of questions:

1. is there any issue with taking magnesium AND using the epsom salts in the bath? for instance-is there any risk of overdose or other issues with both?

2. i am also reading that you should take calcium with malic acid/magnesium. how much is recommended and should i take it in pill form, or just increase my dairy?

3. can i take two separate supplements, or is it better to get a two in one combo pill?

Hi sleepy

there shouldn't be any issues with using the mag and epsom salts just wouldn't take them close together... and i take the mag/malic acid with caltrate with vitamin d...

3. you can take two separate but i find after my pain pills, sleep pills vitamins its easier to take it in one pill

I started everyone on this malic acid, magnesium, calcium combo here on the site because I learned about it when I first was diagnosed with fibro. What works for me may not work for you because we all react differently. I take two 825mg. Malic acid/magnesium caplets in the morning and at night for a total of 3300mg of malic acid, plus the magnesium in the pill, the magnesium in my multivitamin and about every other day a magnesium citrate caplet. I also take 600mg Calcium with vitamin D every day on the advice of my physician. She also encourages the malic acid for my diabetes as well as fibro treatment.

I purchase the Malic acid/magnesium from I get calcium from them as well and also at Walgreens when they are having a sale, as well as Sams Club and Costco.
