It is the shivering.  My body tenses up and I cannot stop shivering in the cold.  That cannot be good for you.  The biofeedback doc is trying to teach me to relax.  Can't relax and shiver.  brrrr.

Layers Sue! LOTS and lots of layers! Chenille shirts, velvet turtlenecks, cotton tees, pantyhose under slacks, two pairs of socks, mittens before you go out of the house, button your coat... Now if I only had those newfangled heated seats in my '95 Van!

That sounds really cool, I mean warm, LOL...

I think I will look into getting some for our truck. That would be a nice Christmas gift. Thanks for the idea.

You can get heated seat covers for your car???? I didn't think there was a gadget out there I didn't know about. smilewinkgrin
I know I tense up in the cold. I can't move when I'm cold. Bed Bath & Beyond have scarves with a rice bag in the neck and at both ends for your hands. I love that store they have so many comfort things. I use to shop for clothes and jewelry now it's all about comfort. Okay, I still have my purse fetish.
luv and hugs

My (new) car has bum-warmers and they warm the small of your back too. AWESOME!

I also figured out to put my slippers in the dryer for 5 minutes on high. AWESOME!

And my daughter bought me the warmest, softest blanket to put over me on the lazy-boy-chair while watching TV. AWESOME!
I have Fibromyalgia, but nothing else!

I take Lyrica 150mg b.i.d.
Tramacet 75 mg for breakthrough pain

Tried amitryptelene 2.5 mg but it made me a zombie!
