Hi all

I know that was one heck of a subject line...LOL

OK I know that palpitations is a symptom of Fibro shakehead ..and I also know it is a symptom of Peri-Menapuse shakehead   But for you ladies that have already gone through it or are going through it now, are your palpitaions really bad at that time of the month???  It feels like my heart stops for a sec and the starts back really hard.  I am due to start in 3 days and they have been going strong now for 2-3 days.  Gotta love PMS!!

And before you all ask, yes I have had the extensive heart work ups and all is fine. tongue   Just a little HBP that is controlled.

Also it seems like when I get stressed and aggravated that the palpitations and the fibro pains in general get worse.  Is that common?

Sorry I havent been on in a while, but this is a busy time of the year for us tire sales people.  Did so good last month that I made enough comission to have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS indeed. yeah

Hi Meg, nice to hear from you-

I'm am not peri-menopause- I'm on the opposite end and weaning off of HRT slowly. But I have been having the palpatations just awful for the last 3 weeks! My heart is just doing what it feels like and nothing has changed as far as meds go. The only thing different is increased stress and very cold weather. I have a murmur, but it has never caused any problems so far. So maybe the stress?? I am going to have it checked out if it continues. I don't have chest pain or shortness of breath, and I feel fine other than the palpatations- jeesh!

I have had palpatations on and off through my life (anxiety) but none that have lasted this long. I also just got fibro late last March, so it might be another symptom rearing its ugly head?   confused
