So after 3 finals yesterday, I'm feeling pretty bad today. So I'm laying on the couch with my neck warmer and my back brace on feeling miserable. So my kitten hops onto my stomach while I'm reading some forum posts. Then he gets transfixed by my mouse moving and starts sitting on the keyboard reading everybodys posts!

Hopefully he will have brightened your day as much as he brightens mine everyday. You can just imagine him reading your long posts about the excruchiating pain we go through every day!

Orlo, that gave me the biggest smile!!  I"m sorry you're hurting so bad today. Must be a relief to have those exams done?

My cat, Willow, is 12 years old, but I swear she still acts like a kitten.  She also likes to watch my mouse curser and my hands when I type.  I know she wants attention when she sits right in front of my monitor and stares at me with this "Get off the computer, woman, and give me some attention".  Hehe... Cats are awesome!

Thank you for sharing your fun, sweet story.  Gave me a lift too!

I have gigantic German Shepherds. They can't stand on me, but I sit working on my laptop computer in a big overstuffed lazy-boy chair that leans back....anyway....the dogs LEAN DOWN and put their chins on the arms of the chair. They also tilt their heads to the side as if to try to "understand" why I'm upset or whatever. Sometimes if I'm crying one of them will actually try to SIT ON ME - ha ha ha - and as they're protection dogs, they uber-guard me from all other creatures including my family members AND the other dog!
I have Fibromyalgia, but nothing else!

I take Lyrica 150mg b.i.d.
Tramacet 75 mg for breakthrough pain

Tried amitryptelene 2.5 mg but it made me a zombie!

thanks for the luck, orlo! i need it..(it's my math final..ugh!) and thanks for the congrats, gamjill.

it is SO hard to get through a term with fibro. there were so many days this past semester when i literally had to drag myself around campus i was so exhausted. tuesdays and thursdays were especially hard for me since dh and i had to be on campus (which is about 45 minutes from our house) by 9 and then didn't leave for home until 5. loooooooong days, especially since there was such a huge gap between the morning class and my math class at 3:00. hubby also had a computer class from 1 to 3, so there was this huge gap where i didn't even have him to talk to :( i took to going out to our van and taking naps! (i even took a cozy blanket with me on the cold days lol). i think that's the only way i made it through some of those days.

so, yes! one more final and i'm done! plus i got smart and took all but one of my classes online next semester. i took two of my 5 classes online this past semester and found that i can handle the work as long as i can be in my own home in my jammies and slippers and can take breaks whenever i need to :)

Congrats to all our college and high school students for completing another semester. You should all be proud of yourselves for hanging in there with this DD.

My grandson turned 21 on the 4th but he had a final the next morning so he couldn't do much celebrating, thank God. tongue

My puppy lays on the back of the couch and puts her head on my shoulder so she can read all the post. She will start posting herself as soon as she is a little older and learns how to type. devil

Orlo I hope now that it's over with you can get rest and start feeling better.

luv and hugs
