Went to the casino yesterday and other than the horrific ride home in sleet, snow and freezing ice, I had a great time.  Didn't win a cent but the lounge had a band playing Oldie music so my friend and I found a Keno machine next to the music and sang at the top of our lungs...who cares...we're OLD! (not as old as Marlee, according to Sherrine. Marlee...could you tell us all how to make fire with a rock and a hunk of a stick???tee hee).

But...and here's the great thing...the woman sitting on the other side of my friend was wearing her shirt inside out.  It was a pretty pink cotton sweater with a large 'Fashion Bug' label exposed.  Not really funny ha ha, but it wasn't me!

Oh Marlee...it just occurred to me while typing this that she might have been in one of the hotel rooms upstairs and had indulged in that 'enjoyable pass time that broke your ribs'...got dressed in a hurry as to get to a 'good machine' and hense the inside out sweater. HMMM.  Now I'm jealous.

as Gilda Radner would say..."never mind..."

I'm v-e-r-y careful when I get dressed now, since I wore a sweater all day on a day trip with the price tag hanging from the armpit.  My so-called best friend will not let me forget it.  She is the travel agent that plans these trips and she has told everyone about it over the microphone on the bus.  nono

Marlee, I didn't tell Donna to tease you about your old age.  I didn't even tell her about how you dated a guy that had to crank his car to start it, so don't blame little innocent me!   devil

Now ladies, there's an easy justification to this problem. Whenever you accidentally put something on inside out, only to discover it later, it's good luck. According to that old adage, we're a lucky, lucky bunch here! Now, doesn't that make you feel better?? Uh, and to add my own experience, I've gone around all day wearing my undies inside out. And nope, it was not a result of "the past time that broke Marlee's ribs." Ooooops. eyes

In Sherrine's older years she has forgotten how to subtract 58 from 61, in case your having problems it's 3. confused I have yet to go out with my undies hanging out of my pant leg or kick a concrete ball Donna. Sherrine doesn't know the difference between nursing a baby and being a nurse. devil One of your best post Sherrine. So who would be the sharpest tool in the toolshed here, ME.

As far as getting my ribs broken, hey can't think of a better way. It's Sunday morning, I need to crawl back in bed with DH. devil

In his defense he did let me catch my breath the last time he broke a rib before continuing, he is a gem.

Yes, I can start a fire by rubbing two stones together, it's one of my many talents. turn

Marlee...Sherrine does too know the difference between a nurse and nursing a baby!  A nurse is one of those nice young ladies that does all the work in a hospital while a doctor gets all the credit and 'nursing a baby is when' you hand your infant to said nurse and she feeds it for you will you sleep off the demoral...right Sherrine?

And maybe I did kick a cement ball (owwy) but I will tell you this about the underpants in the jean legs...soon it will be the newest fashion statement and you will see young girls dragging them through school hallways and malls just like the the guys and their 'butt crack jeans'.  You will see them at the Oscars and Emmy's...the attire of The Stars.  You will have to wait in line to own a pair.(the designer jeans companies will sew them into the leg so as you might not loose them and charge $200 a  pair)

Plus...I am older than both of you.  I can remember walking 20 miles to school without and shoes, uphill both ways because our school district was too poor to have horse and buggies to take us there and back.  I had to use my curling iron and put on  my make up in an out house.

Excuse me while I answer the phone...I think it is my great, great, great granddaughter.

Marlee, are you keeping a list of silly little mistakes I do?  You sure can rattle them off quickly.  With your advanced age and fibro fog, you couldn't possibly remember all that!  devil

Donna, you could market those jeans!  Think of the money you could rake in.  You could call them the Spare Pair jeans!  devil

Boy, you ARE old, Donna!  I only had to walk 18 miles, one yard, two feet, and three inches to school so you were way ahead of me!  devil
