I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia many years ago and have argued with the diagnose ever since (although I have all the symptoms).
Over the last few months, I have had fever off and on.  My temp has hovered around 100 degrees which for me is high because my normal temp is between 95 and 96 degrees.  The fever was found at an appointment with a surgeon about a test I am having done.  I don't have any other symptoms except tiredness.  Bloodwork a month ago came back normal.
Does anyone out there with Fibro experience this same thing?  If this is a common thing amongst Fibro patients I guess I will be forced to accept my diagnosis and deal with it.

did they check your thyroid levels? People with low thyroid also have low normal temperature and that can cause a lot of the same symptoms as FM

That could be a symptom of Lupus or another auto immune disease.  So, you should be checked for that.  It's probably in addition to the Fibromyalgia.  My daughter has FM & was running a low grade temp, she was found to also have Lupus & Scleraderma. If you have an autoimmune disorder you need to be on medication for it.  So, go get checked out.  Hugs, Denise

I could be wrong here, so anyone who knows, please correct me if I'm off base!  But I was under the assumption that those with Fibro tended to have a low normal temperature.  A lowgrade fever like yours if more common with AI diseases like Lupus, which has already been mentioned.  I have lupus, but when the disease is quiet like right now, my body temperature is always normal or just slightly below normal.
