It always saddens me a little bit to see how early in the morning/late at night many of us post here.  The names change, but there is always someone who is up in the middle of the night, unable to sleep, finding ways to distract herself from the pain and sleeplessness.  Today, I've been up since 1:00 am, and I see I'm not the only one.  cry

So, in addition to wishing everyone much peace and love for Christmas,  I also pray that we all receive the gift of rest.  May your holiday be filled with much needed, restorative sleep.  :-)

Hey Austen...along with being up in the middle of the night with pain...I had another lovely Meniere's attack!  Thankfully, it didn't last all night.  So along with a painfree, sleepful holdiay..I wish you the gift of balance, and the lack of sensation that you are whirling around in a centrifuge!

hugs

(((Austen,Donna)))

They say that consuming turkey is supposed to make you sleepy.  My memory of that is......after the Christmas feast, all the men in the family would disappear to various locations in the house for a long long nap.  So...I dont know if it works on us gals or not ( the women would be too busy cleaning up the kitchen!).   I do know that a good stiff shot of alcohol makes me sleepy, however...how big does that shot need to be to let us fall...and stay asleep.  tongue    I was up and out of the house at 4 am yesterday morning (Walmart is opened 24/7 during the holidays)  I shopped for 4 hours.  Came home, wrapped what I bought, and baked goodies for hubbies co=workers, and a whole lot of other stuff.  I did fall asleep immediately after my head hit the pillow, but...alas...woke up on and off from about 1 am, and got up at 7.  No rest for the wicked?? turn

I hope your wishes come true, and you have a restful, and lovely Christmas.

Hugs,

Diane

Donna,  I'm so sorry you were dealing with Meniere's last night.  Yuck, yuck, double yuck!

Oh Diane,  so THAT'S why I have so much trouble sleeping - that whole wicked thing.  I guess I really need to work on that, preferably before Santa comes!  smilewinkgrin tongue turn

I only get about two hours in a row of sleep, becasue I am all night with bladder problems, so constantly go to the bathroom.  Only thing i find that puts me to sleep for several hours is atarax, helps the bladder, and knocks me out.
So i would like to sleep a full 4 to 8 hrs without waking up to go to the bathroom.

God Bless,and have a Great Day!!.......Love.....Sheryl
