Hey you guys,

I got a flu shot in the fall, but still picked up some kind of a bug.  I guess it is a cold.  It came on gradual, but now is here with a vengance.  I can't seem to get above it.  Thinking about seeing the doctor.  But will probably ride it out. These things seem to have to run their course.

So I haven't been around much and for that I appologize.

I hope that you all are feeling well.

Hugs, Karen

Good to hear from you Karen. I hope you are feeling better soon. Take care of yourself and rest as much as possible. I'm sure everyone understands.
Best,
Sue

Hi Karen....just a thought..I can't take most cold or flu meds due to heart disease..but the best thing i've found(please don't laugh) is Vernor's ginger ale and Vicks chest rub. They take the edge off of it a bit.hope you get better....Wyld :-)

I'm sorry Karebear. You noticed Sherrine didn't offer to make the soup and bring it to you. If I knew how to make it I would be happy to make you some and deliver it myself.

Get better soon.

Danielle,

I think that the vernors is mostly for comfort. It just makes my tummy feel better. I like it room temperature too. I don't know why.

Marlee,

Sherrine did send me some sunshine this morning. But it didn't last long. Now it is snowing and blowing again.

Yesterday hb fixed me chicken soup. Today he is doing laundry. What a sweetie.

Hugs, Karen
