hello eveyone, i just want to share my dr. respond.  2years ago i was diagnosed with heriniated disc, was off work 6months. i been to work for a year now. still have pain and aches. and few months ago, dr. said i have fibro. with all the symptoms i been feeling the past few months. had my mri results, expecting more bulging disc or something. it turns out there is no herniated anymore. but why do i still feel the same from 2 years ago. took some blood test find out more stuff, i let you know the status on that. but i'm very confused how i have all this pain and miserable feeling all this time and it turns out nothing.  i saw a nuerologist he said i have no nerve pain issues, why do i have pain radiaiting down my legs every day. he looks at me, like i'm stupid. I'm still very unhappy with the results. he put me on anti depressants pristig, sometimes i truly think dr. don't know what they are doing. sure they will get paid everytime you come in regardless if they helpful or not. i guess it's time to go dr. shopping. thanks guys...

Sorry you are going through so much. The worst of it is when you can't get any relief. Fibromyalgia works alot like what you are explaining.

I had surgery back in 1994 to remove a cyst from my right rotar cuff. 2 months later my left shoulder had the same kind of pain as my right had before my surgery. The doctor tried to tell me it was from using my left arm so much after I had surgery. Both shoulders got worse through the years and I think that is when I started having different pains and problems. Everything kept getting worse & I would get new symptoms in different places.  I feel as if my surgery triggered everything.

It is good to have all the tests done to rule other things out. You're right about finding a new doctor. You need someone who is going to help you and try medications that may work for you. Something that will give you relief for the pain you are having.  I hope you get to feeling better soon and are able to find a good doc!

Hugs!!!!   Margie
