I wanted to share this great quote I came upon:

"We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by
learning to see an imperfect person perfectly."
-- Sam Keen

Let's remember... nobody's perfect.  wink
Warm hugs...

patti,

i love this quote! sometimes it's so easy to look at our spouses or other loved ones and see all the things they do that drives us crazy (for me with my dh, it's the fact that he leaves his socks lying around and never, ever closes the cupboard doors or changes the toilet paper roll!). this quote is a great reminder on how i should really be looking at my husband-not for his flaws, but for his perfection, because i have to admit no matter how hard things are some days, he is the perfect person for me!

thank you for sharing this!
love and hugs

this being human is a guest house.
every morning a new arrival-a joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awarenewss comes as an unexpected visitor.
welcome and entertain them all!
even if they're a crowd of sorrows, who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably
he may be clearing you out
for some new delight.

I really like that Patti, it's so true. If we only concentrate on our loved ones flaws we are missing so much.

luv and hugs
