I had a really bad night last night.  I was wide awake until about 6:00 A.M. this morning.  I should have been able to go to sleep because I hadn't gotten much sleep the night before either.  But I was up & down, trying to get some sleep, I wasn't even drowsy.  I had taken my muscle relaxer on time & then my Melatonin 5mg which I take sublingually, dissolve it under my tongue.  I finally got up around noon & put my bathrobe on.  After I had made my coffee I reached into the pocket to get Muffin a doggie treat & found my Melatonin pill.  I was so surprised & knew I had taken it the night before but I do remember putting it into that pocket until I needed it.  Then it hit me, there had been a B12 sublingual laying on the computer desk & sure enough it was gone.  So, in my fog & I had taken the B12 instead.  So for those of you who want to know: Yes, it does work, I did have lots of energy & I was wide awake.  These findings are brought to you by FoggyBrain of Montana.  I am going to get some sleep tonight.  Hugs, Denise

Oh Denise... bless your heart! I have done that too. There have been many times when I reached into a pocket the next morning and found all my pills still there : ) I take melatonin too, I take 6 mg. How does it work for you? I am trying both melatonin and valerian [not together tho] I do hope you are resting well this night!
Sweet dreams :)

Gee, I wish B12 would do that to me I would be popping them all day. I'm glad you didn't give Muffin the B12. smilewinkgrin I take most of my meds at night and I have become quite cautious and look a couple of times before I take them to make sure they are all there. Morning meds are a different story cause my brain doesn't wake up for a couple hours after my body and I will sit here trying to remember if I took them or not.

I hope you get back on your sleeping schedule.

Thank you all for your replies.  I did finally get a good nights sleep last night, about 14 hours.  I woke up about 4 times during that period but was able to just go back to sleep.

Sera, I do have really good results using the Melatonin.  If I use the sublingual I will start to feel tired within 20 min., if I use the other type I will become sleepy in about an hour.  So either way it works for me which I am so appreciative of.  How about you?  Do you see really good results?  Do you have to take anything with it?  I have to take cyclobenzaprin & the combo works for me.

Marlee, Yes we do have snow.  My grandkids came over today with their new sled to slode down the piles that the snow plow made.  Huge hills that I know seem gigantic at their ages.  Think Spring.

Hugs to all, Denise

Hello everyone,
I'm 35 years old and been diagnosed with FM 5 years ago. I have trouble sleeping since then....At this moment I am taking Restoril 30mg to help me with this problem, however, I would like to go the natural way. Any advise......

Welcome to our family Annamd

Where can you get velarian and/or sublingual ??  I tried the melatonin..even took as much as 9 mg...no luck cry   I was too chicken to take more...I figured if it's OTC, it is probably too good to be true for it to work.
