Ouch! I woke this morning, after a very emotional low last night, with incredible pain in my left hip, maybe sciatica, as the pain is radiating down my left leg.   My feet usually don't bother me this much until in the evening.  I am having a hard time climbing the stairs in my house.  Oh, well, so I stay in my pjs all day, and can't go downstairs to do laundry - awww...!!
My hands are stiff.

Now, I know that part of my problem is it's that time of the month.  But, my dear friend's husband had an emergency appendectomy on Sunday night.  She needed me to drive her to the hospital which is about 90 miles away.  I stayed with her until I got her home last night. Driving in a mild snowstorm (cuz she is too scared to drive in the winter) and the tension that produced has translated itself into pain for my having done too much yesterday.  Oh well..a bit of my pain is a small price to pay to have Ken still alive (the appendix had ruptured AND he has a history of heart issues).

I'm falling asleep as I type this - my pain pill must be kicking in.

More later, maybe, if I feel up to it.

Thanks for having a read of my post.

Julie,

I do hope that you feel better soon. That was a lot that you did, driving that far and through a snowstorm. You must of had to white knuckle it all the way. You are a good friend.

Hugs, Karen

Julie, you are a good friend! Now treat yourself kindly, that had to be a rough trip. You are a brave woman, I can't stand the snow, hate driving in that and ice. Hope you are feeling better after your rest.

God bless.  Alice.

Julie!

You are such a special person...to your girlfriend you are her angel. O:) Give yourself a few days to recover from all of that. Just the driving would do any of us in, but add to that the stress and worry plus how far you had to drive, then wait and wait. You are a true friend!

Julie,

What a good friend you are! I would have been so stressed from driving in the snow and then to have to stay away from home that long, no wander you're feeling like you are!

I hope you get to feeling better after you rest. You helped to take care of your friend. Now it is time to take care of you!

Hugs!!!  Margie
