There is no shot for every bacteria out there. Then there are viruses that they can't treat, too. I wouldn't think of not getting my flu shot. Our bodies are beaten down with fibro as it is and I want any protection I can get my hands on!
Thanks for posting that Chutzie, for years I used to think that flu was a stomache ailment too. I have to take my chances and get that shot every year despite what they told us on the news this week. especially if one has AI diseases. I have been lucky for the last 9 years as far as flu bugs go, so I like to think that the shot, whether mis-prediction or not, has helped me. It certainly wont hurt you that's for sure! Also, I get a pneumonia shot every 7 years...so perhaps the 2 combined are giving me a little added protection?
