as i told everyone i got a new job!
i had orientation yesterday, and today i got to go to my branch and observe what a "day in the life" would be like. i SOOO enjoyed it.
i am finding so much joy in getting up in the morning, getting ready, having my coffee(its a MUST at this point), going somewhere, being productive, going home at 5, having dinner, watching my favorite shows, taking my valerian root at 7, having a shower, taking my melatonin at 9.... and falllllinggg asleeeppp.
haha that was detailed... but i am saying all that to say how this schedule is benefiting me more than i ever imagined.

yes, at night i am more than exhausted and i hurt.... but i've been sticking to my schedule.... i make sure i have my valerian root and aleve at 7.... i relax.... then when its time for bed i take a melatonin and get under a heating pad. i think this is good for my mind?
and that has made me get sooo good of rest... and in the mornings its hard to get up, but doable... rewind to 4-6 months ago.... getting up wasn't even doable.

i was also very worried about my mind failing me... but this day and age, the computer does so much for me... so i am confident in my abilities.
i also think the good rest is doing my mind well.

for non-fibro related things... i LOVEEEE everyone i work with. i will be training at a facility for a month and after only one day i hate to be apart that long. i have one guy who is 28 and a ball of energy! he keeps me alert and positive and never fails to make everyone laugh... one girl is 24 and pregnant! she has trouble with remembering everything and they all love her anyways. the branch manager is really laid back and i feel able to talk to him about anything. last but not least, the head teller who will mentor me is one of the sweetest and intelligent lady i've ever met. i was welcomed and included today. i am on a definite high! i was so worried, yall. i was nervous about everything, and after today i feel blessed and capable.

i believe this is the best thing i ever did.

i hope it stays this way!!!

So happy for you! I can tell or feel in just the way you write tonight how happy you are! I know that sounds funny, but I can really feel just how relieved & happy you are.

Sounds like you really have been blessed with your co-workers. Hope everything continues to go great for you and that you are able to manage your pain as you are doing.

I will pray that things continue to look up for you!

this being human is a guest house.
every morning a new arrival-a joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awarenewss comes as an unexpected visitor.
welcome and entertain them all!
even if they're a crowd of sorrows, who violently sweep your house empty of its furniture, still, treat each guest honorably
he may be clearing you out for some new delight.

Hey sunshine,

Congrats! Glad that working is agreeing with you so much.
Still learning how to manage my Fibromylagia, and all the lovely gifts it brings.
