Hey everyone, We - well actually I am trying to convince my husband and friends that "we" want to go to Disneyland this year.  Maybe we will go at Thanksgiving.  I just looked up the site and discovered that wheelchairs can be rented for $8-10 a day.  Since walking only 20  minutes to an hour is all I can handle, a wheelchair sounds like a nice idea.  They are first come, first serve.  Has anyone done this before?

I have a handicapped boy who can't walk very far. Stadiums and malls have wheelchairs too. But I can remember not being able to get one cause they were all checked out. Thanksgiving sounds like a busy time. Would it work to rent one and take it with you? Maybe you could rent it in CA after you arrive?

The Red Cross loans out wheelchairs and other health related items. You need to try and get a folding wheelchair that can fit in you trunk, or the back of your vehicle. Usually they just ask for a small donation ($10.00 - $20.00).Generally they let them for three months at a time.
