Not sure if it's anxiety, Fibro or what... but my chest is really tight today and hurts. It's like there is a ball of pressure pushing against my rib cage. cry

I'm exauhsted... and this isn't helping.

My body is fatigued... all I've managed to do today is have a shower. I could barely finish combing my hair.

I really need to clean my kitchen :(

Hi Corrie,

Has this happened before? Have you talked to the doctor about it? I wonder if maybe you should call your doctor?

Though it does sound like it could be anxiety or tension, I am worried. Maybe you have had this before and maybe it is nothing to worry about.

I hope that you feel better soon.

Hugs, Karen

Don't fool around with chest pain. Unless this has happened before and is EXACTLY the same, you need to call your doc. Most docs will send you directly to the ER.

I don't want to be alarming, but those are possible symptoms of a heart incident. Just my opinion - I think you should get to your doctor's office or ER and tell them you're having tightness and pain in the chest. Today. Hopefully it's nothing, but on the off chance something is going on, it's best to get on it right away.

At any rate, that's what I would do. Or please, at least call your Dr's office and tell them you have tighness and pain in the chest.

I'm going to make a trip to the doctor tomorow... the tension is still the same, and it hasn't gotten better. My fatigue is come and go.. I'll be fine and then I won't be, it's not worst than usual.

I'm a little worried about it.

I can't go see the doctor until 1, since the hospital is closed to patients unless it's an emergency on Wednesday in the morning (rounds).

The pain isn't so bad today but it still doesn't feel right.

Corrie I get a lot of chest pain too from the ribs, left shoulder and I even think from esophagus at times. Having just gone through the heart thing with DH it's nothing to mess around with. I'm glad he felt the pressure in the middle of his chest and was sent to ER when he called the doc office. It has made me think and I haven't had my heart checked out in a few years so I think when he goes back for his follow up I'm going to talk to the doc about having some test done. I'm 58 and a smoker and since we do have so much pain that mimics heart problems it is best to have our hearts checked out.

With that being said I hope they check your heart out so you will know it's just fibro causing the pain and pressure.

Good luck
luv and hugs

I didn't go...

the pain isn't as bad now. I have therapy to go to today... and I'm planning for making a trip on friday to the hospital.

I'm suffering from anxiety at even the thought of going and seeing my doctor.

But I know it's important for me to go get this checked out.

I'm 21 and I got a whole lot longer to live I better take care of myself now anxiety or not.
