I was doing so great...wonderful cocktail of drugs (Lyrica, Amitriptylene, Tramadol time-released) and then today came along. I was folding blankets around 9 a.m. and my right thumb down to the wrist KILLED! Now I'm sitting here at 2 pm and it hurts EVERYWHERE. Bah! I'm thinking of going to BED believe it or not. At least I'm on "holidays" right now.

No idea what might have triggered today...no stress....I've been on holiday for 3 weeks now and feel totally rested. No bad news, nothing.

And with the time-released Tramadol, all I can do is sit around and wait/hope I feel better.

Maybe I shall assume a comfortable position (as much as possible) and watch the last 2 discs in the 4th season of LOST. That's usually pretty calming....
I have Fibromyalgia, and nothing else!
I take Lyrica 225 mg/day and Tramadol (150mg time-released)

Sorry to hear your holiday has been interupted by none other than FM monster. I do the same (watchin' a favorite show/movie) when I get a bad flare/visit from FM monster when I'm home. I hope it does you good, have a nice nap if you get one of those in too. :-) Maybe you did a little to much laundry/chores over your holiday to set you off. That happens to me.Ugh!!!

Sweet Dreams,
Hugs,
Lori

Thanks for your response Binki. I'm optimistic that today will be better. My thumb and wrist feel better already and I don't plan to do much today.

I think watching LOST just gets your mind so involved that you don't have room to think about the pain. That said, I do feel for you. My pain is never severe, but there are no pain meds that will work for me. Once in a while, I am in terrible shape from the pain. Usually it's just fatigue so bad I can barely sit up in a chair. I think LOST helped some. Today I'm feeling better physically but I'm just depressed. It's awful. I don't CARE about anything - I just want to sit in a chair and do nothing. I sure feel for the folks on here who suffer from depression all the time. I don't know how you do it - with jobs and families and everything. Today I couldn't care less about any of that. I have some errands to run -picking up dog food and going to the mall to hem some pants and buy new runners. Bah! I don't give a darn about any of that - the dog included! lol

I've been on the internet and a couple of forums all morning and now it's noon. Well...maybe tomorrow I'll be not in pain AND feel hopeful and optimistic again.
