So, last PM I spent my first night in my wonderful, beautiful, PRIVATE, new apartment! shocked    I feel really weird having privacy and independence again.  But, the party is on! tongue    Please RSVP here, and don't forget to mention what you are gonna bring (food or cash is always nice, LOL). smilewinkgrin

BTW-I swear that my middle name is karma-bad karma.  This morning I was driving and my thermostat kept creeping up closer and closer to that 'H.'  Yep, my car overheated.  I'm waiting to find out what is going wrong with it. sad

Anyway, I may need a ride to my own party! rolleyes

Get a new thermostat on that car soon or you may need way more than just a small part. Had it happen and nearly destroyed the engine because the little light that shows overheating was burned out!

What time is this party??? I'll bring Taco dip, chips and a HUGE cheesecake!

Congratulations, Kelly!  I'm glad you finally made it to your own place.

Let's see....how about I bring some fried chicken.  I'm hoping to "import" it from Washington state.  I hear those girls...umm I mean chickens...are quite flavorful!  I'm already licking my lips!  devil

I'll also bring twice baked potatoes.  Those are good with the chicken.

You didn't say when the party was.  I need a little advanced notice so I can catch a flight.  Thanks!

Awwww, sigh of relief, your freeee. turn I hope it doesn't take much to fix your car.

I'm sooo ready for a party. I will warn you all in advance I'm ready to let off some steam. Do you have a pool Kelly??? I think a hot tub would do me more good right now. Talked to son in NC last night and they had five inches of snow but it was all melting. I'll wave to him when I go by on the way to your house. Since the winter vacation that Ken and I had planned isn't going to happen I wish I really could go south for a few days but I guess that wouldn't be fair so it will have to be virtual.

I will figure out what kind of food I will bring when I get there. So when we starting this, tomorrow night??? Guess you will find out what kind of neighbors you have real quick. I'm sure your mother wouldn't be too happy if we got you kicked out the first weekend so we will try to keep it down.

luv and hugs

Kelly: congrats on your new digs. Sorry, can't make it. I'm getting ready to head to TX for a week - please pray for very warm, sunny weather! I'm tired of grey skies and white stuff on the ground, and cold!

Kelly,

I am so happy for you!!!!!!!!!! I bet you will be a lot more relaxed in your own home. I will be at your party with bells on. Got to get out of this six foot of snow here. And it is suppose to be cold again. So sick of it. The warm weather sounds so inviting. I will bring some bbq baby back ribbs and some baked beans. Potato salad if you like. Just let me know. I am so excited, this will be a blast.

I am sorry to hear about your car. Hope that you can get it fixed soon.

Hugs, Karen

Kelly, If there is a pizza joint near your new digs, I'll bring pizza! yeah I am so glad you're back on your own. Now if you need to lay on the couch all day, no one will bug you about it. I can NOT imagine living with my mom again. Although since she had her stroke in Nov. she has been living with my sister. But they get along. Diane

I guess I'll have my virtual housewarming party next weekend (yeah, we can make it last all weekend!).  There is a pool at my apartment complex, but it's not open this part of the year.  However, we fibros are gonna go in the pool, anyway, LOL!  Everyone is invited.  Make sure to bring something potluck.  Oh, there will be drinks and dancing (but I have the feeling that with our pain, there will be a lot more drinks than dancing)! tongue

BTW-my car is fixed, so if anyone needs a ride from the airport, let me know. :-)
