I don't have restless leg syndrome, but today in yoga we did a pose which the teacher said would help RLS.
You lie on your back and pull your right leg up to your chest and roll it around in your hip socket. Then you extend your leg up in the air with a strap across the ball of your foot. Pull the strap down so your heal is pointed towards the celling (I wasn't sure this was possible! I couldn't do it very well). Hold it there for a couple minutes as you feel a stretch from your foot to your knee. Then adjust the pull of the strap so that it stretches the entirety of your leg. Hold it there for as long as you want, then rotate your leg in a circle of your range of motion. Then gently lower your leg. Then repeat on your left side. You can adjust the stretches to the amount of time that you feel comfortable. She said that if you do this before you sleep, that it will help RLS.
Hopefully it's some good advise!
