My son is always trying to cure me. He comes up with some interesting info sometimes. I know Fibro is not supposed to be infammational (?), but most of us have other illnesses, too. Check out this article. Diane -- I don't know how to post links, sorry.
How Inflammatory Disease Causes Fatigue
Fibromyalgia since 1984, Sjogren's, Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, Auto-immune eczema, GERD, osteoarthritis, IBS, RLS, sleep apnea

(I made you a link. Maybe if you click on the pencil up in the right hand corner it will show you the link and you can see how I did it. I've tried to explain it before and can't do it. ~Jeannie)

Interesting's nice that your son is so interested and cares that much about you to spend time in research.

Still learning how to manage my Fibromylagia, and all the lovely gifts it brings.
I had severe spinal stenosis, had fusion done on C5-7, and my life has changed.

Thanks for the article. Maybe they will be able to completely stop the brain from sending pain signals to Fibro patients one day. Of course I think my brain is already half gone or maybe just sleeping!

Does this make sense? Oh well, I've been falling asleep all morning in different places, so I may not be thinking clearly. Fog...............

Hugs!!  Margie

This was very interesting.  Thanks for sharing it.  Deep down, I think they will see that fibromyalgia IS another inflammatory disease.  Everything else I have is inflammatory or caused by inflammatory diseases.  Just my humble opinion.

I sent the link to my sister, who was in neuto-diagnostics for years.  She's now disabled, has fibro and lots of other problems.  But she believes, as others do, that fibro is all connected to the brain.

Thanks for sharing this Diane!!
