"Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass... it's about
learning how to dance in the rain."

Yes, I know it's hard to dance in the rain when you're a fibromite.. but somehow we've learned how to weather every storm with grace and humor.  We are the Mighty Fibromites!!

Warm hugs,

Yes we are! Hooray for the Fibromites! (I may not be able to dance much in the rain-but I can at least sway from side to side :-))

Here's a nice one I found, too (is it ok if I add another quote?? Hope so!)

Happiness is not a station you arrive at, but a manner of traveling.
- Margaret B. Runbeck

We Fibromites have many struggles, but the one thing I've seen on this board is that we are all still stiving to make our life travel one of happiness, in spite of this dd.

Patti- I so agree!

Since Chutz sews, we could try and convince her to make capes for each of us and a shirt with an "MF" emblem on the front and run around town in them!!!   tongue

Danielle... Of course it's ok.. I want  people to add some of their favorite quotes along with mine!!  I think it helps to remind us to think positively!!

It would be so much fun to have capes and t-shirts! Woo hoo! LOL. I can't dance in the rain, but I can stand in it and pretend I am dancing. LOL. Here is a quote that I like.

Never let life's hardships disturb you ... no one can avoid problems, not even saints or sages.

ooo, i totally want a t-shirt. Although, if we put mf on the front like a super man sign...people might get the wrong impression. nono

I love the quote thing! I used to hang them on my dorm room door so that when people would walk by they could read them.

I love quotes. I have a memory box that I have, and I have a lot of quotes written on construction paper that I used to have hung all over my room when I was still living with my dad. I love finding quotes that I enjoy. And then I tend to print them out and put them on construction paper and make them look pretty. It is kind of a hobby for me. LOL.

I am thinking of having a t-shirt made that says something like, "I am a Fibromite. Get used to it." Or something like that. LOL. I might do it if I have the money. LOL.

I think we could put another saying on the back of the t-shirt, something like-
"I am a fibromite. What was I saying? Oh yea, uhm... I forgot again. Never mind. Where are my glasses?"

That's a good one Sera. Especially since I wear glasses and sometimes forget where I put them at night...which is why I try to put them in the same spot every night. I have learned not to let my husband take them from me and put them up because then I won't find them for a while. LOL.

Thanks for sharing some of your favs.  I really want to do something with all of these quotes I've saved up... maybe a photo album or something..
LOL, I was thinking the same thing about the cape and t-shirt w/ MF on it but didn't want to say it. devil hehehehe.
And thanks for encouraging me to continue.. I'll post them now and then.. I don't want everyone to get burnt out on them.
Happy Saturday!!!
And warm fuzzy hugs on a snowy Midwestern day!!
