Since there isn't a February 29th, today, March 1st is the 6 month anniversary of my non-smoking life! yeah I just wanted to brag and say, "Yay Me!" tongue I can't believe it has been that long. It seems like yesterday I was counting HOURS without a cigarette. I've moved across the country, lived and fought with my mother, moved into my own place, endured horrible pain and stress, and I STILL haven't smoked! shocked That really is an accomplishment, and I'm actually proud of myself. smilewinkgrin
FINALLY dxd with fibro on 06/13/08
Neurontin, Ibuprofen for pain-which doesn't help
Zoloft & methadone (NOT for pain) for sanity-which doesn't help, BTW
Klonopin for anxiety (Guess what?  Doesn't help!)
Aciphex for reflux
Quit smoking 08/29/08 (used Chantix)

Huge hugs to you!!!!

(((Kelly))) You should be proud of yourself.  You are absolutely amazing.  I have never smoked myself, but have seen others quit and try to quit.  I am very excited for you that you were able to do it.  Congrats for 6 months!!! turn

Karen Keep on trying. I've heard that each time you try your chances of being successful increase.  The fact that you keep trying is something to be proud of too. :-)

Thank y'all so much for the congrats. Sue, I don't know if I'm amazing, LOL. I'm just proud of myself for breaking yet another addiction. Now I just need to break my food addiction. I think that will be harder than kicking drugs and cigarettes!

Anyway, I love y'all and thank you for supporting me. You really are my family. yeah
