That of course is my description of everything that keeps falling apart at our house.  Just needed to write that both our vehicles are out of commission and it is zero degrees here with the wind chill. smurf Our family is having to walk to work and school and when I am out the cold hurts.  Now I"m getting a ear infection and bronchitis from being in the wind.  So i went to make a cup of coffee and our coffee grinder quit working and trust me I think I need my coffee even if it is decaf more than I need a vehicle sometimes.  But hey what ya going to do but role with it right.  I just keep saying Happy face, Happy face! smilewinkgrin    Do you ever notice that when you smile your muscle cramps in your face.. and well there goes that Happy face.  Well I just think we are up a creek without a paddle, no wait we do have a paddle but you cant use it on frozen water.  Thus our motorcycle.  Thanks for letting me just write my frustration and Thankyou Lord for your faithfulness.  Have a great day everyone.

Hi Baloo,

When it rains, it pours. Or should I say when it snows, it snows hard.lol...

I am sorry to hear that everything is going wrong right now. You must like your coffee like I do. I couldn't live without it. I drink it from the time I get up, till I go to bed. But I use 1/3 decaf to keep my blood pressure down. It seem to be helping.

I hope that things start going better soon. It might have to be one thing at a time, but I am sure it will get there. Keep your chin up. Have a great day.

Hugs, Karen

Hi,

Use your blender for to grind your coffee. It is best if you use the pulse function.

I hope you get one vehicle fixed soon, that would be terrible to be without.

We have had times like that when everything falls apart at the same time and it is frustrating.

Yes it does cause muscle cramps when smiling, wow I had never noticed that before. Keep your chin up and warm.

luv and hugs

Hi Baloo-

Sorry to hear about both vehicles being down and getting sick and without a coffee grinder!! I can't be without my car, I hate being sick and I have to have my coffee- I feel for you! I have been in your shoes with the vehicle situation, and nothing is cheap anymore to have them fixed unless you know someone that can do it for you. Can anybody help you out? Friends, family?

Oh Baloo, it sounds like you're really going through a tough time.  ((gentle hugs))

I hope you don't live to far from the places you need to be.  Like Gamjill said, I hope you have some family or friends you can call on for help getting around.  Do you belong to a church??  Sometimes the church members can be really helpful in situations like yours.

Does your local highschool have an "auto shop"?  Sometimes they'll fix cars for free, just to gain experience.  I wish I knew something about cars and I could say.. "oh just jiggle that little whosy whatsis and crank  that thingamajig and you'll be all set".  But I can't even change a fuse ( I wouldn't know where the fuse box is)

LOL.. I agree about the coffee.. if I don't get my coffee I'm the worlds grouchiest grouch!!! shocked Good thinking Donnaiel with the blender.. I never would have thougt of that!!!

I just wanted to let you know that I'm concerned about you and hope you can get things pulled together soon.  Let us know how you're doing.

Warm hugs,

Patti

scool  I love your suggestions. We basically live in the country, but what is awesome is my husband works for the school district.  The school my daughter goes to is a mile away and so is his work, so thats not bad, but the temp has been below zero in the mornings.  We have one vehicle in the body shop from a skid out in December and our trucks brakes went out when i was driving.  Our insurance will cover a rental which we just found out, which is great.  Yes I belong to a Church, I am very involved.  My family and I are worship leaders.  I play the piano and sing, it takes me a week to recover from sitting and my hands but I am so thankful I can still do it.
I've had a friend drive me yesterday to the store.  This day is better because the suns out even if it is cold.  And I love the suggestion about the blender, I was going to try that, but I hitched a ride to Target and got a COFFEE GRINDER! YAAAAAA!
