Hi there Lipz!!

I wanted to welcome you to the forum.  This is an awesome site filled with folks that really care.  Since, we care about our fellow members and you will find that lots of folks will stop by to welcome you.  Please let me be the first to recommend that you check out the second thread on the forum called Fibro 101.  It's filled with tons of Fibromyalgia information that's really helpful and might answer some of the questions you might have.  The folks at this forum are also very willing to help answer questions and give support.

There's also a thread running right now called Welcome Newbies.. written by Sherrine.  Sherrine is one of our moderators and she really knows her stuff, so please look that over, too.

Sounds like you've got quite the tossed salad of medical issues. Lots of the members here have a lot of other symptoms aside from Fibro.  Geez just having one medical problem is bad enough but throw fibro into the mix and it really makes life challenging.

Hope you have a healthy and painfree day!!

Hi Lipz and welcome. As Patti said this is a great support group. We are always here for each other through the good, bad and ugly. Fibro affects every aspect of our lives so we cover it all. We try to have fun on here too and make each other laugh cause God only knows we need it.
Read the fibro 101 and other threads, ask questions and even vent when you need to.
luv and hugs

Welcome Lipz, it is very nice to meet you.  As the others have said this is a great group of people connected by an illness we all wish we didn't have.  My daughter has polymyocitis & her Dr seems to have it suppressed.  I hope you see the same kind of help with yours.  Fibro never stands alone.  It seems to always have at least one friend along.  sad   What kind of surgery did you have on your ear?  I hope you are recouping well.  Come back often & read the new & old posts because they are full of helpful advice.  You take care, hugs, Denise

Hi Lipz and Welcome!

I got fibro about a year ago now and what a journey it has been- I see you have plenty going also like so many of us! You have come to a great place for support. They have been with me step by step since the diagnosis. What kind of ear surgery did you have? Doing OK?

Hi and welcome!

You and I have several things in the diabetes. Are you on insulin??? Or hopefully pills and/or diet? I had to go to insulin over 13 years ago and don't care for it one bit! But the alternatives are even worse.

This is a great family of people here and I hope you enjoy everyone as much as I do. My live is better and richer because of everyone here.
