Hey there kids!!

The COUNT DOWN BEGINS!!!! Two weeks till the first day of SPRING!!!!!  YA-HOOO!!!! yeah Today it will be about 60 degrees here in N/E Indiana!! We might have a few sprinkles here and there but the temp thrills me!!  It gives me hope that we won't see too many more snow flakes or ice storms.  It also gives me hope that there won't be as many achey painful days ahead.

Today I saw a ton of birds at my bird bath.. LOL, its the first time it hasn't been frozen in months!!  They're loving every minute of it and so am I.  My little Chloe (a little Yorkie-Poo) is soooooo excited about all of the birds.. She's a riot, when she sees birds fly she runs after them with her front paws flailing as if she's trying to fly with them. turn

Oh yeah, one more thing... don't forget to set your clocks forward one hour this weekend.  And enjoy the warmer weather, we certainly deserve it!!!

Warm Hugs!!!

I couldn't be more excited either for spring to get here!! This has been one of the worse winters we have had here in MN since I can remember- and my first winter with fibro- OUCH!!

Made a note to change the clocks this weekend and put the sticky note right where I can see it on the kitchen counter. Maybe with the "fibro fog" I should put it on my forehead instead!! turn

Hi Patti,

I don't think the entire world has ever needed Spring like this year. It will just be so wonderful for you folks. My son lives right in Boston and he cannot wait for Spring. I am flying up to see him next week and hopefully it won't be bitter. I don't care at all just to see him.

The pollen is terrible here in central Florida right now. Speaking of Chloe reminds me to tell you Maestro, my standard poodle, had a green tinge to his tail. I started laughing like crazy when I realized it was pollen. Cannot keep this pup off the porch.

Enjoy those birds, you know how much joy they bring me.

Hey Patsie..

What color is your standard poople?  Chloe is only a little thing.. about 9 lbs, she's back and gray.  But I do like standards, they're so smart!

I wanted to tell you I replied to your post last night on Willie Will's thread - re: Lyme & Fibro.

I think this has been one of the longest and roughest winter's I can remember, #1 because I gave up my job in Nov and winter hit at exactly the same time.  I've been cooped up in this house ever since. #2 It's been really hard on the fibro and its been remarkably cold this year.

OK.. more later, I've got the windows open and I'm enjoying hearing all of the birds sing!! tongue

It is already 63 here in central Illinois this morning, suppose to get up to 68, but I can't say the change in weather is being kind to me. We have storms in the forecast for Sat and Sun so that could be affecting me. If this headache would just go away I would be happy. There is a price to pay for everything with fibro.

I know Krissy is full of energy this morning so I better get her outside and let her run some of it off before she drives me crazier. It's like she knows spring is coming but she don't even know what spring is, animals know these things.

luv and hugs

Thanx for the reminder on setting our clocks.

It's a breezy, bright sunny day here in So. Cal. in the mid 60's. I have noticed lots of birds around my house talkin' away when I'm getting ready for work. The one thing I don't care for is that my next door neighbors cat is in heat again, so lots of male cats roaming around and fighting in the middle of the night.

Enjoy your warmer weather ladies. :-)

Hugs,

Oh Dolphinfire, we get mud season in NH too. I had forgotten about that. Man it is something!!!

Patti, Maestro is a silver standard. He still has some of his dark coat and he is gorgeous. My first one was white and brilliant. I cannot tell you how many words he new. He lived to be 15 1/2 so I nearly died when I lost him. The new pup is still learning but a tougher go getter type of pup. He has my heart wound up in a knot already woof woof!!!

Wow... our temps and S. Cal's temps are close to the same!! 63 degrees here!! That gives me hope!!

LOL, Marlee, Good Girl.. now you can have a biscut!!!  JK!! tongue

I took the morning off from doing house work.  But I'm itching to get this stuff done .. got to wash and change the sheets, I wish I had a clothesline to hang them to dry.  But with all of these birds in the backyard I think that might not be such a good idea.. LOL.. I'm not complaining, just joking!!

The lowest temp over the next week or so is... will be 27 degrees.  Just a few weeks ago that would have felt like a warm temp!!

LOL, at me, I guess not putting away my summer clothes last year wasn't such a bad idea, now I won't have to dig them out again and do the winter / summer switch!!

Sorry you don't have any signs of spring yet Dolphin.. ewww mud season, yeah we get a little of that here too, because we have 101 lakes in our county.  Beautiful area, but very prone to mud.

Hugs!!

LOL.. Patsie you and I posted at exactly the same time.. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me!!!  ~ Great minds think alike ~  I've never seen a silver standard poodle before, I bet he is beautiful.

For those of you that can see your little flowers popping up.. not here yet, but I bet if I went to my mom & sister's there would be some early stuff coming up.. sis, has the green thumbs in the family.. All of my fingers are black or something.. I couldn't grow a thing but a weed.  I do have a rock garden that does well though, the rocks don't grow much but neither does anything else... LOL!!

I am so excited for Spring!!!  I can't wait.  It is still cold here in Montana, 30 deg. right now & we had a blizzard last night but the sun is shining even through the cold.  Ah, it's so beautiful with the blue sky.  Just knowing that ist is coming is enough for me.  I am definitely getting to that Gurneys order.  I have been procrastinating, I thought I had more time.

Speaking of time, thank you for the reminder of the time change.  I would have forgotten, it is one of my biggest fears, to be one hour off from everyone else & have Mike be late for work.

Hugs, Denise
